Lindsey Laura Laster aka "Luu" believes dance is a creative outlet for ENERGY to flow collectively into the universe. It is a LANGUAGE that relies on the rhythm within. Her style is defined as a collaboration of articulate motions fusing the rhythm naturally communicated by multidimensional sounds. At the age of 7 Luu was enrolled in classes for 5 years at Full of Energy Dance School located in Brooklyn, NY. As she learned a diverse range of movements her appreciation and passion grew. The following dance forms continue to influence her UNIQUE STYLE: African, hip-hop, modern, and salsa. In high school she was a member of Oxon Hill High School's Dancers with Individual Style and Pom Poms Dance Team located in Oxon Hill, MD. As an undergraduate student at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C her dance views expanded. She began to choreograph pieces for Dancers of Phenomenal Expression.
In the year of 2013 Luu was hired by The Dance District also located in Charlotte, NC as a flash mob dancer. A year later in the year of 2014 she danced back up for a sensational singer by the name of Talibah. As an independent dancer she now choreographs pieces to showcase to the world. Her recent work includes a fashion show which debuted on March 31, 2017. The creative mogul presented a collection of pieces to the public at Needham B. Broughton High School located in Raleigh, NC. Her educational background includes the following: Bachelors of Arts in English and Masters of Teaching in Secondary English.
